Rediscover 415
Restaurant 415 (four -fifteen) is a locally owned and operated restaurant in Fort Collins. It features modern American cuisine with many options. Although it has been around since 2012, it underwent new ownership in May 2018. I had the opportunity to sit with Debra, one of the new owners, and get a few more details on the 415.
But, before we get into the details on the food and atmosphere, let us fill you in on a few pre-restaurant fun facts. The space that Restaurant 415 now occupies was originally a laundromat, and after that……
Obama’s campaign headquarters! Yep, you read that right. Now a restaurant, once a political campaign landscape.
Ok now on to what the restaurant is all about…
Local, From Scratch & Inviting
The 415 is very warm and inviting and a great spot for good food. Their menu features local, from scratch recipes created with integrity. There are many options, including small bites for everyone to share, as well as entree size plates. They have gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Since undergoing new ownership they’ve changed the menu up a bit and now offer more seasonal items, as well as salmon and a juicy burger. It is really is a great place for any occasion–a business luncheon, date night, family dinner or for a large party. They are very accommodating if you have large groups or parties, which is always a plus.
One of my favorites is the chicken and waffles, or “When Pigs Fly” Plate. The bacon thyme maple syrup with the crispy chicken and orange infused waffles deliver a punch of texture and flavor. I waited awhile to try these and I wish I hadn’t! I am also very excited they added a burger to their menu, as I am a burger guy.
Dog Friendly Patio
And for all of the dog owners reading this…they have a dog friendly patio. So on a nice day enjoy their patio and a adult beverage with your pooch!
Restaurant 415 is opened Tuesday-Sundays and closed Mondays. They offer lunch, dinner and Happy Hour daily from 3-6pm. On Happy Hour you will find both drink and food specials.
If you have yet to try Restaurant 415, you must branch out…what do you have to lose??
And if you tried it but haven’t been back in awhile, then it’s time to Rediscover 415.
